Day 1 Arrive Barcelona
Upon arrival, you’ll have the unique opportunity to get a warm welcome at the airport before being taken directly to your hotel. Afterwards, take some time to settle in and meet your new friends for an enjoyable Welcome Reception.
Day 2 Barcelona
For a unique tour of the city, why not consider going on an excursion with a knowledgeable local guide? The itinerary includes a stop at the world-renowned Sagrada Família.
Day 3 Barcelona
For a unique experience, take a trip to the majestic Montserrat mountain range. Here, you can make your way up to the peak and visit the celebrated Shrine of Our Lady of Montserrat. On your journey, pick up some insight into Catalan culture and then return to town for some free time afterwards.
Day 4 Barcelona, Madrid

Day 15 Lisbon, Sintra
Pack your bags and join us on a journey to the breathtaking mountain range of Serra de Sintra. See the remarkable Pena National Palace, nestled amongst its surrounds, before taking a guided tour of Sintra. When you’re done, make your way back to Lisbon via the scenic coastal route.
Day 16 Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto, Embark Ship

Now you have the opportunity to experience Porto in a way that suits you best.
Day 18 Porto, Guimarães, Entre-Os-Rios
Today, your adventure begins with a visit to the historic city of Guimarães. You’ll be guided on a tour that will take you back in time and teach you about its medieval origins. Once you are back on board, enjoy the scenic Douro Valley as you make your way to Entre-Os-Rios. Make sure to check out Quinta da Avelada, an old winery that has been producing wine since the 1870s and explore its vibrant gardens. Cap off your day with a tasty sampling of their wines and cheeses.
Day 19 Régua
As you cruise to Régua this morning, make sure to take advantage of the beaming sunshine. Once you arrive at your destination, why not check out the Douro Museum and explore the history and culture of the beautiful Douro Valley wine region?
Day 20 Regua, Pinhão
Once you’re finished with the activity that you have selected, carry on your journey and explore the remarkable chasms of the Douro Valley all the way to Pinhão.
Day 21 Pinhão
Venture to Palacio de Mateus near Vila Real and witness the distinct architecture of Nicolau Nasoni from the 18th century. Recognizable on every bottle of Mateus Rosé wine, it is a must-see for all tourists. To top off your remarkable journey, you’ll be invited to indulge in a captain’s farewell dinner.
Day 22 Barca d’Alva
Visiting Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo is an absolute must! Take a tour of the village to view its magnificent castle ruins, and behold magnificent panoramas of the Douro Valley and local towns. Spend your last night on board in ultimate comfort, with a delicious dinner for all to enjoy.
Day 23 Barca d’Alva, Disembark Ship, Salamanca, Madrid
Once you have left the ship, a journey to Madrid can begin with a stop in the historical city of Salamanca.
Day 24 Depart Madrid
