For those who wish to skip Lisbon, we also offer this trip without the connecting program. However, for those who do choose to visit Lisbon afterwards will find that it is a city full of both modern amenities and classic charm.

Excursion to the “Cradle of the Nation of Portugal” Guimarães

Bus transfer to Lisbon to hotel. On the way, visit the Catholic pilgrimage site of Fátima and lunch in the university town of Coimbra.

Day trip through the Portuguese capital Lisbon with a visit to St. George’s Castle.
Day 10
Excursion to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, and Sintra, UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for the centuries-old palaces.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures
Mandatory in order to travel:
Fully vaccinated with double dose -> valid up to max. 9 months (one Johnsson shot is no longer considered fully vaccinated)
Fully vaccinated with double dose + booster -> no expiry
Recovery status, not-vaccinated -> valid up to max. 6 months
Recovery status, vaccinated -> valid up to max. 9 months
A PCT test only is not sufficient, except for children under the age of 12 years (no older than 72 hours).Testing prior to the cruise:
Ocean cruises only: On all our cruises, we ask all guests to present a certified negative rapid test result to embarkation, which must not be older than 48 hours. This is mandatory for all guests – regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or have recovered.
River cruises only: No test needs presented on embarkation.
Mask duty:
Wearing masks is no longer mandatory, but we recommend all guests to wear a FFP2 or medical mask wherever a minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained indoors.
