Day 1 Arrive Barcelona
Upon your arrival, you will receive a warm welcome and transportation to your hotel.

Day 2 Barcelona
Be sure to add the magnificent Sagrada Familia to your itinerary on a city outing. Later, reunite in the evening for a delightful welcome dinner.

Day 3 Barcelona, Madrid
It’s time to say goodbye to Barcelona and hop on the train to Madrid. Get ready for an artistic treat when you reach your destination, because visiting the Prado Museum is a must. Lose yourself among beautiful works of art which once belonged to the Royal Spanish Collection, displaying masterpieces by Velazquez.

Day 4 Madrid

Day 5 Madrid, Toledo, Córdoba

Day 14 Lisbon, Sintra

Day 17 Porto, Guimarães, Entre-Os-Rios
Today, your journey takes you to the quaint town of Guimaraes. Here lies a rich history of medieval settlement, just waiting to be discovered on an educational tour. Afterwards, hop aboard and take in the spectacular scenery of the Douro Valley as you cruise towards Entre-Os-Rios. Upon arrival, visit Quinta da Avelada – a heritage winery that has been producing world-class vintages since 1870. Day 18 Régua
Making your way to Régua this morning, don’t forget to bask in the sunshine for a few minutes. When you reach your destination, spend some time exploring the Douro Museum. It gives visitors an amazing glimpse into the customs and practices of winemaking within the captivating Douro Valley.

Day 19 Régua, Pinhão
Make a selection of what sightseeing attraction you’d like to see. After your decision is made, relax while the cruise ship continues to make its way towards Pinhão.

Day 20 Pinhão
For a memorable journey, visit Palacio de Mateus in Vila Real. It was designed and constructed by the renowned Portuguese architect Nicolau Nasoni during the 18th century. This stunning edifice has become widely known due to the iconic Mateus Rosé wine that displays it on its label.

Day 21 Barca d’Alva
Before bringing your tour of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo to a close, be sure to visit the castle ruins. Once you’ve completed that leg of your journey, enjoy a Captain’s Farewell Dinner and spend your last night reminiscing about all the grandeur that Spain has to offer.

Day 22 Barca d’Alva, Disembark Ship, Salamanca, Madrid
Jump off your vessel and make your way to Madrid through the historical city of Salamanca.
