Day 2 Barcelona
Join us on a city tour to the awe-inspiring Sagrada Familia. Later, come together at a welcome dinner for an evening of fellowship and conviviality.
Day 3 Barcelona, Madrid
As you wave goodbye to Barcelona, Madrid awaits your arrival by train. Art aficionados will be delighted with a trip to the renowned Prado Museum. Meander through its halls and take in all the beauty that makes up the former Royal Spanish Collection. Marvel at works of art by Velazquez and bask in their brilliance.
Day 4 Madrid
Today, take a tour of Madrid’s most iconic landmarks – from magnificent Royal Palace to tranquil Buen Retiro Park and charming Plaza Mayor. Later in your evening, you’re free to explore on your own and discover more of this vibrant city.
Day 5 Madrid, Toledo, Córdoba
Today, make your way to the historical streets of Toledo and journey through its past with a guided tour. After that, plan your next move southward to Córdoba.
Day 6 Córdoba
This morning, take a guided tour through the Great Mosque of Córdoba and its iconic Jewish Quarter. Afterwards, relax and explore at your leisure.
Day 7 Córdoba, Granada
A trip to Granada wouldn’t be complete without a visit to an olive estate.
Day 8 Granada
Take a guided tour of the legendary Alhambra, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Constructed during the Moorish period, this magnificent palace and fortress is an embodiment of Andalusian history. During your visit, be sure to view the refurbished Lion Fountain and stroll through the Nasrid Palace complex.
Day 9 Granada, Ronda, Seville
Make your way to the mountaintop village of Ronda and explore this stunning location, high above a ravine. Make sure to take lots of pictures to remember the beautiful views! Afterwards, why not head over to Seville, the vibrant capital of Andalusia for dinner?
Day 10 Seville
During a tour of Seville, visitors should not miss the opportunity to view the grandeur of Alcazar palace; additionally, those who come here must take in the impressive beauty of Cathedral de Sevilla and its iconic Giralda Tower.
Day 11 Seville, Algarve

Today is the perfect day to explore a variety of attractions.
Day 13 Algarve, Lisbon
Lisbon is waiting for you. A trip of a lifetime awaits when you explore the city’s unique tramcars and meander through the beautiful Old Town. Take in the breathtaking architecture of Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an emblem of Portuguese power. And to finish off your day, savour some delicious local cuisine at dinner.
Day 14 Lisbon, Sintra
Come explore the majestic Serra de Sintra mountain range and get ready to discover the World Heritage-listed Park and Palace of Pena. Afterwards, you will have free time to roam around Sintra before heading back to Lisbon by taking the stunning coastal route.
Day 15 Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto, Embark Ship
Tour Coimbra then board your river ship.
Day 16 Porto
Now is the perfect opportunity to follow your heart and pursue whatever interests you.
Day 17 Porto, Guimarães, Entre-Os-Rios
Today, an exciting exploration awaits you in Guimaraes; one that will reveal the important history of the medieval settlement. On board your ship, cruise through the Douro Valley towards Entre-Os-Rios where you can visit Quinta da Avelada. As a long-standing family business established in 1870s, it offers its visitors a glimpse into their beautiful gardens and an opportunity to sample some delicious wines and cheese. So don’t miss out!
Day 18 Régua
As the sun rises this morning, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy its warmth during your journey to Régua. Upon arrival, you’ll be able to explore the Douro Museum and gain a fascinating understanding of the wine-producing area of Douro Valley.
Day 19 Régua, Pinhão
Before continuing the journey to Pinhão, select from a range of sightseeing options. Afterwards, relax and enjoy the cruise.
Day 20 Pinhão
For a truly memorable experience, plan a visit to the majestic Palacio de Mateus near Vila Real. Originally designed in the 1700s by renowned Portuguese architect Nicolau Nasoni, this palace has become famous due to its appearance on the label of bottles of Mateus Rosé wine.
Day 21 Barca d’Alva
As your journey in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo comes to a close, make sure to take the time to explore the castle ruins. Afterward, enjoy a captivating Captain’s Farewell Dinner as you reminisce about all that Spain has shown you throughout your voyage. Allow these memories of this marvelous country to linger long into the night before disembarking.
Day 22 Barca d’Alva, Disembark Ship, Salamanca, Madrid
Step off the boat and make your way to Madrid, with a stopover in the historic city of Salamanca.
Day 23 Depart Madrid
At the appointed time, you will take a ride to the airport in preparation for your upcoming flight.
