Additionally, you’ll have a chance to join an exclusive gastronomic society in San Sebastian and witness the beauty of Barcelona. Furthermore, you will also visit Portugal’s port city birthplace as well as enjoy the riches of Douro Valley. As you make your way around the exciting cities and sites of this trip, please remember to bring along appropriate attire. Comfy clothes and sturdy walking shoes are essential for navigating cobblestone streets, while in summertime the temperatures can reach over 40°C so be sure to wear layers and use sun protection. Remember to also drink lots of water! At certain religious sites it is important to show respect by ensuring your clothing covers the arms, with pants or skirts going past the knees – a lightweight scarf can often help combat the heat while also covering any exposed shoulders or arms. Your leader will let you know when such clothing is required.
