Day 1 Lisbon (Portugal)
Exploring the beauty of Lisbon awaits! Say hello to your fellow travellers and buckle up for a drive to take in some of this vibrant city’s must-see sights. This evening, delve deep into Portuguese tradition with a scrumptious dinner and a performance of traditional fado music. Established in the 19th century, this folk singing style is beloved by locals—so what better place to experience it than here? As you soak in the intense emotion of the melody, reflect on how far you’ve come and be grateful that you are actually here.

Day 2 Lisbon
Your day is here. Make the most of your free time by ticking off those bucket list objectives AND discovering hidden parts of Lisbon. Get ahead of the competition and wake up early to experience the legendary yellow 28 tram. Let us take you on a journey through Alfama, dating back to medieval times. Then make your way to São Jorge Castle for amazing views and to learn more about Moorish culture and artwork in Mouraria. Treat yourself afterwards with delectable pastéis de nata custard tarts before enjoying some peace in the scenic Botanical Gardens – built by a former Portuguese ruler wishing to have one plant species from around the world! Later, feast at the Time Out Market then finish off an unforgettable evening with drinks at a cozy rooftop bar in Bairro Alto; this is why you made it here!

Day 3 Lisbon – Sintra – Porto
Porto is renowned for its offerings, but before we arrive, let’s make a stop in the magical town of Sintra. You’ll have some free time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage-listed town – peep the Castle of the Moors and the colorful Pena Palace (make sure to book those tickets beforehand). While you’re there, drop by Fábrica das Verdadeiras Queijadas da Sapa and taste their queijadas (small pastries filled with yummy goodness) that have been made since 1756. Afterward, proceed to Porto where you can get lost in its enchanting cobbled streets and amazing blue-tiled buildings. Spend your evening wandering around until your heart’s content!

Day 4 Porto
Ready to explore? Let’s journey through the centuries-old streets of Porto, sauntering down its cobblestoned alleyways and along its scenic waterfront. We’ll take it in turn – make a pitstop at Porto Cathedral, marvel at the splendour of Palácio da Bolsa, be in awe at San Francisco Church, and don’t forget to admire the captivating azulejos adorning San Bento Station! Then on to some optional extra activities – how about a blissful cruise down the Douro River or soaking up some sunrays at Matosinhos Beach? Maybe treat yourself to an exquisite port wine tasting experience afterwards before topping off your day with a visit to one of Porto’s stunning rooftop bars for incredible panoramic views (with white port and tonic as our top recommendation).

Day 5 Porto – Madrid (Spain)
Today, we travel to the city where Picasso, Dalí, and Miró made their mark: Madrid, Spain. Our trusty Trip Leader guides us on a city tour of Spanish wonders like the Royal Palace, Temple of Debod, Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel. Afterwards, travelers can choose to experience a traditional Flamenco performance at an atmospheric cave or seek out some delicious local fare at one of Lavapiés district’s art cafés. For night owls who are still up for more fun, it’s time to groove on Chueca’s dancefloor!

Day 6 Madrid
This is the day to make the most of your exploration. Today, dive into history by visiting the Royal Palace, home to one of Europe’s oldest monarchies. Roam through Plaza Mayor and find yourself entranced by the art in Museo del Prado (Madrid’s Louvre). Captivate your senses with all the views from Palacio de Cibeles. Afterwards, get a taste for local flavors around El Retiro Park; indulge in some delicious churros before heading over to Malasaña district and discovering its vibrant bistro scene. By nightfall, enjoy more churros – this time chocolate-dipped!

Day 7 Madrid – Segovia – San Sebastián
Onward to San Sebastián! Before we arrive, we’ll be making a brief stop at the Valley of the Fallen – a solemn reminder of those who lost their lives during the Spanish Civil War. Continuing our journey is World Heritage-listed Segovia to take part of its breathtaking Aqueduct, majestic Cathedral and enchanting Alcázar de Segovia castle. To cap this tour off on a delicious note, lunch will be provided so don’t forget to eat up!

Day 8 San Sebastián
Ready to explore one of the Basque hot spots? Kick your trip off with an orientation walk led by our savvy Trip Leader who will introduce you to the town and its best bars. After getting acclimated, join all the beachgoers at La Concha or go surfing with the locals. For a dose of nostalgia, check out one of the oldest theme parks. You can also reward yourself with a cold beer and stunning views on Urgull Hill. Get ready for a night full of pintxos crawling in Old Town or savory slow-roasted beef at Bar Borda Berri – but be sure to wear pants that don’t restrict your movements!

Day 9 San Sebastián – Zaragoza – Barcelona

From the awe-inspiring Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar and its Roman walls, to the famous Central Market where you can find some delicious food, there will certainly be no shortage of things to do. Then for a different experience, we’ll jump into a car and take a driving tour around Barcelona. Finishing off with dinner with friends before taking off again tomorrow – what better way could there be??

Day 10 Barcelona
