Day 1 Arrive Barcelona
As you arrive to your destination, you’ll get a warm welcome from the airport transfer to your hotel. Kick-start your holiday with an enjoyable Welcome Reception where you can meet and get acquainted with other travellers.

Day 2 Barcelona
Take a tour of the Spanish city with an experienced local guide, culminating in a visit to the world-famous Sagrada Família.

Day 3 Barcelona
For an adventure that allows you to learn about Catalan culture, embark on a journey to the Montserrat mountain range. Make your way to the peak where you can find the Shrine of Our Lady of Montserrat. Afterwards, spend some time in the city at your own leisure.

Day 15 Lisbon, Sintra
Let us embark on an exciting journey to the renowned mountain range of Serra de Sintra. Our first stop is the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pena National Palace, nestled within a stunning landscape. We will then take a guided tour around Sintra before heading back to Lisbon, skirting along the picturesque coastline.

Day 16 Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto, Embark Ship
After visiting Coimbra, it’s time to board the river ship and cruise along the magnificent Douro River.

Day 17 Porto
Now is the time to discover what Porto has to offer.

Day 18 Porto, Guimarães, Entre-Os-Rios
Today, a special journey awaits you to the city of Guimarães. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore centuries of medieval history with a guided tour. Afterwards, your cruise will continue through the majestic Douro Valley until it reaches Entre-Os-Rios. You will then be given the opportunity to visit Quinta da Avelada – a vineyard that has been producing wine since 1870s and boasts stunning gardens. Day 19 Régua

Vila Real is home to the exquisite Palacio de Mateus, which was built in the 18th century by talented Portuguese architect Nicolau Nasoni. This impressive landmark has become world-famous for being pictured on the label of Mateus Rosé wine bottles. At the end of your visit, a captain’s farewell dinner will be served as an extra special treat.

Day 22 Barca d’Alva
Embark on an excursion to Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, a quaint fortified village. Take in its remarkable castle ruins and take a look at the magnificent vista of the Douro Valley and neighboring towns. Afterward, savor a mouth-watering dinner as you relish your final night on board.

Day 23 Barca d’Alva, Disembark Ship, Salamanca, Madrid
Depart your boat and make the journey to Madrid, journeying through the historic city of Salamanca.

Day 24 Depart Madrid
