Day 1 Lisbon
Once you arrive in Lisbon, it’s time to check into your hotel. Then join your Tour Director and other travellers for an enjoyable drink to kick off the trip! Gather together and discuss your exciting plans for exploring this beautiful city.
Day 2 Lisbon
Start your day in the heart of Lisbon by visiting the National Tile Museum and Jeronimos Monastery. After, savour a taste of the delightful Pasteis de Nata – a Portuguese classic. Alternatively, explore the Maritime Museum to discover more about this once-great seafaring nation or pay a visit to Sintra’s Pena Palace with its startlingly vibrant colours.
Day 3 Lisbon > Évora
Begin your exploration of the stunning Portugal region by travelling to Setúbal. Here you will receive an informative overview of the area before enjoying some free time. Afterwards, journey to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city, known for having an impressive cathedral standing in the centre surrounded by thick protective walls. Finally, spend two nights at your hotel where you can relax and take in all there is to see and do in this historic region.
Day 4 vora
On your visit to Herdade do Esporão, you’ll get an insider look of the exclusive estate. Take part of a World of Wines workshop that will expand your knowledge about wines produced here. Later, indulge yourself with a tasting and finish the day by enjoying a long delicious lunch.
Day 5 vora > Seville
On the borders of Portugal and Spain lies the Aracena mountain region, home to some of the most delicious Iberian pork. An outing to Jabugo village will give you a taste of its renowned cured jamon before visiting a notable local producer for an exclusive tasting. Afterwards, a delightful lunch filled with Spanish delicacies awaits as you prepare to return to your hotel located right at the heart of Seville.
Day 6 Seville
Begin uncovering the secrets of Seville with a delightful tour on foot. Pass by landmarks such as the Barrio de Santa Cruz, witness the beauty of the cathedral that holds Christopher Columbus’ final resting place, and explore the historic Alcazar. For another way to take in the sights, opt for a scenic horse-drawn carriage ride around town. To really immerse yourself in Spanish culture, enjoy a spectacular Flamenco show – a unique performance filled with emotion and energy.
Day 7 Seville > Ronda > Granada
Your journey to Ronda begins with a spectacular drive through the mountains. Take a leisurely stroll around town before your next venture to Granada. Later, why not treat yourself to dinner at one of the area’s most renowned eateries before heading back to your hotel for the night.
Day 8 Granada > Córdoba
Discover Córdoba, highlighted by the Aljama Mosque, and make your way to Alfarnatejo for a home-hosted lunch with welcoming hosts. Later in the day, have time to marvel at Granada’s renowned landmarks, such as the captivating Alhambra and Generalife Gardens. Your unique hotel awaits you in the evening for a comforting night of rest.
Day 9 Córdoba > Madrid
On the way to Madrid, make a stop at Toledo for an introduction into the city’s attractions. Spend two nights and take full advantage of all that there is to explore.
Day 10 Madrid
Free choice: For a unique experience, why not explore the wondrous Prado Museum or take a lively Flamenco Dance workshop?
Day 11 Madrid
