Afterwards, take the time to appreciate the beauty of Old Town Lisbon and don’t forget to stop by Jerónimos Monastery, a World Heritage-listed monument from the Age of Discovery. Built in 1502 by King Manuel I, this breathtaking structure serves as an ode to Vasco da Gama’s historic voyage to India.

Day 3 Lisbon, Sintra
Serra de Sintra will leave you awestruck with its rolling mountains visible from every direction. Make sure to visit King Ferdinand II’s impressive Park and Palace of Pena, before having the freedom to explore Sintra further. After lunch, take a leisurely coastal route back to Lisbon for your last night here. Consider trying out one of the delicious local restaurants for dinner; it will be the perfect end to your trip.

Day 4 Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto, Embark Ship

Day 6 Porto, Guimarães, Entre-Os-Rios

Then, climb on board and set sail through the Douro Valley towards Entre-Os-Rios. There, pay a visit to Quinta da Avelada, a winery that has been providing delicious vintages since 1870s. Take a leisurely stroll around their gardens and then indulge in some wine and cheese tastings for the perfect end to your day.

Day 7 Régua

Day 8 Regua, Pinhão
