And of course we can’t leave without visiting the charming town of Cascais. This former fishing village used to be a royal getaway. 1 review for Private Tour of Sintra from Lisbon

    :

We 4 persons booked a private, flexible time tour to visit Sintra. Our guide was Nene I hope it’s a correct pronunciation. He showed up right on time at our rented apartment in Lisbon and took us for a trip in his 7 person van. He took us everywhere we wanted to go in Sintra and Cascais-Estoril area. We had plenty of time for visits, Nene was simply waiting for us to take us to a next place. It was a very hot day, we saw a lot of tourists tired from too much walking and waiting for a bus, we simply hopped into air conditioned van and drove to a next place. Nene was very nice, there was a heavy traffic around Sintra so he frequently used his phone GPS, and even called his colleagues to avoid congested roads get us to a new place to visit as quickly as possible. We wanted to see a lot so our tour with Nene took a couple of hours longer than average. He did not mind, he wanted to make sure we were happy and satisfied. We were very happy with Nene and this tour. We highly recommend it, I think it’s the best option.
